Clive has been with us since April 2011 and is doing a great job interpreting some tricky original sequences into live keyboard elements.
I used to play with the Paul Terry Ensemble a couple of years ago; they played original music similar to Pink Floyd and Philip Glass but instrumental only. I also played with" Urban Cafe" a local duo-trio band.
I was taught the piano for about 2 years when I was about 10 years old, then played for about 18 months with a band called Kruemen Kult in the early 70s, playing an old Lowrie keyboard, (Steve Wonder influence).
I love artists such as Kings X, Living Color, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Stain, Powder Finger, Filter to John Butler trio, Alicia Keys and Amy Winehouse. I always loved live gig venues, from Pink Floyd to jazz at Ronnie Scott's.
I use a Roland Junod with D Beam as my main lead instrument and a Yamaha YP10 for other patches. I'm also starting to incorporate an Alesis Q49 MIDI controller connected to an Apple Macbook Pro running Reason 6 into my armoury, this allowing me to add sequences and textures which would otherwise not be possible.
