The White Bridge

The story is set in eighteenth-century Coalbrookdale at the time of the Industrial Revolution and the construction of the famous Ironbridge. It is a dark tale of mistrust, greed, love, passion and obsession and tells the story of Thomas Wellington (local landowner and businessman), Henry (a retired army officer and local teacher), Elizabeth (local farmer's daughter) and a mysterious scarecrow, a figure who will influence the lives of all participants for good or bad.
We have been very fortunate to have added Jim Grover to our creative fold. He is an established playwright (see http://www.nakedtheatre.co.uk/) and he has agreed to work with us as a lyricist and to help shape the plot of the show.
The story is currently being develped in detail and when complete we will set it to music, some of which is already written and available on Asymmetry, our CD. We plan to perform the show in locations around Kent and anticipate a multimedia production including light show, video, projections and narration.
